Price should have been long gone. The Texans pounced, and earned a B-.

The board owed the Texans one, and it paid up: Jadarian Price, the No. 70 name on the board, sitting there at Round 4, Pick 6 like a gift left on the doorstep. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.

They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. Reaching for Kelly left real value on the table behind him.

Running back is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
