The Saints let Etienne fall and pounced. Final grade: B+.

Somebody in the 184th overall pick was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Saints sat still while Trevor Etienne, the No. 150 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. The cornerback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The Grover Stewart deal gives the class an established piece to lean on.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the cornerback spot they never got to.
