The Raiders finally solved quarterback, and it carried them to a B-.

The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Raiders spent their marquee pick on Fernando Mendoza, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback.

The cost of the Bell reach is exactly the players who went right after him. The Smith pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher. Job largely done: cornerback settled and 6 of 8 of the wish list covered.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
