When the story of this class is written, it opens with Jordan Jefferson at slot 121, a reach of 65 spots that the board flatly disagrees with.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. Leaving cornerback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

That is an offensive lineman worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. Jessie Bates III gives the group a proven body among the projects.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Malik Nabers and all.
