The Bears spent the pick that matters most on Caleb Williams, and a roster that has been waiting on a passer can start to take shape. Some smart calls, some head-scratchers, and a C in the wash.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. Landing Pearsall that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.

They will need Jackson to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through interior defensive lineman.

Bottom line, the swing picks will decide whether this ages well.
