The Jets let Bryant fall into their laps, and walked away with a B.

When a board-topper like Pat Bryant slides to the 188th overall pick, you do not overthink it, and the Jets did not. No fireworks, but a solid B.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher. The dealing nudged the ledger their way without much fuss. Job largely done: quarterback settled and 5 of 8 of the wish list covered.

The skill positions did well by the weekend.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
