More right than wrong for the Packers, and a B- to prove it.

The Packers did not so much draft Darius Robinson as overpay for him, 33 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

They banked enough surplus on Watts to cover a lot of smaller sins. They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. They went 7 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
