The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Jets watched Jeffrey Bassa slide 26 picks past his grade and did not hesitate.

The cornerback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. They gave back a little on the phones for the right to move. Quarterback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Stockpiling next year's capital is patient, if unglamorous, asset work.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
