Truckley45 DRAFTING FOR THESeahawks
Draft Grade — Seahawks
Overall
B
ValueA-

Iamaleava should have been long gone. The Seahawks pounced, and earned a B. You build a draft on nights like this. Nico Iamaleava had no business being available in pick 183, and the Seahawks did the only sane thing and turned in the card. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.
A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want. Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.
A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
Pick Analysis
Pick31
Rnd1
Arvell Reese
In Round 1, Pick 31 they get the heartbeat of the defense, and a steal at that. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick63
Rnd2
Elijah Sarratt
They let Elijah Sarratt come to them and pounced at pick 63. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick95
Rnd3
Keith Abney II
Good things come to war rooms that wait, and Keith Abney II at the 95th overall pick is the proof. It adds depth where they could use a little.
Pick183
Rnd6
Nico Iamaleava
A quarterback of that caliber at No. 183 is the definition of value, full stop. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
