Truckley45 DRAFTING FOR THEPackers

Draft Grade — Packers

FutureB-
Nothing loud, just a tidy B- for the Packers. Nobody had Tim Keenan III this high, and it is not close. The Packers reached 28 spots to get him at pick No. 125.
That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Cornerback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. They reloaded the coverage unit in bulk.
Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
Pick Analysis
Pick57
Rnd2
Colton Hood
Colton Hood in the 57th pick is early enough to raise a brow, if not a full objection. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick89
Rnd3
Austin Siereveld
Austin Siereveld at the Round 3 slot is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. The roster fit checks out.
Pick125
Rnd4
Tim Keenan III
Tim Keenan III at pick No. 125 is an overdraft of the loud, memorable kind. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick165
Rnd5
Kevin Coleman Jr.
A market-rate wide receiver, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Kevin Coleman Jr.. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick203
Rnd6
Mark Fletcher Jr.
They paid sticker price for Mark Fletcher Jr. in the 203rd overall pick, and that is fine. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick239
Rnd7
Robert Spears-Jennings
A straight-up fair deal on Robert Spears-Jennings at No. 239, value and slot in agreement. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
Pick255
Rnd7
Smith Snowden
By-the-book stuff, Smith Snowden at Round 7, Pick 41 squarely in line with his ranking. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
