They will call it conviction in the building and a reach everywhere else: Jalen Rivers, 126 picks early at Round 6, Pick 22. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

The Stowers pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. They went 7 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
