Draft Grade — Seahawks

More right than wrong for the Seahawks, and a B- to prove it. For all the names on the card, the loudest question went unanswered. The Seahawks walked out of the weekend still thin at edge rusher, a hole that has a way of deciding seasons. It nets out to a B-, which feels about right.
Maiava at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. Job largely done: quarterback settled and 1 of 8 of the wish list covered.
The back end got a real overhaul.
Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
Pick Analysis
Pick31
Rnd1
A.J. Harris
In the Round 1 slot they get a potential shutdown corner, outstanding value to boot.
Pick63
Rnd2
Jayden Maiava
Jayden Maiava at pick No. 63 is money in the bank, a quarterback taken below his worth. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
