FutureB-
The Raiders cashed the board's mistake on Price: B+. Somebody in No. 106 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Raiders sat still while Jadarian Price, the No. 69 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.
They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.
Every board in the league had Roberts lower, and that gap is the story.
In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
Pick Analysis
Pick28
Rnd1
Jermod McCoy
In pick 28 they get an island corner, outstanding value to boot. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick36
Rnd2
Omar Cooper Jr.
No drama and no debate, Omar Cooper Jr. went about where he belonged in pick No. 36. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick38
Rnd2
Dillon Thieneman
A tidy little value on Dillon Thieneman in Round 2, Pick 6, a step better than break-even. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
Pick67
Rnd3
Domonique Orange
Domonique Orange in the 67th pick is the kind of reach that only looks good if he outplays it. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick106
Rnd4
Jadarian Price
Jadarian Price in No. 106 is a gift, value that borders on unfair. It fills a real need, too.
Pick117
Rnd4
Skyler Bell
Steal is underselling it; Skyler Bell at the Round 4 slot is a heist with the alarm still ringing. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick134
Rnd4
Jaeden Roberts
They paid up for Jaeden Roberts at slot 134 when waiting would have done the job. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick167
Rnd5
Caleb Douglas
A clean, defensible pick in the 167th overall pick with a little surplus value in Caleb Douglas. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick175
Rnd5
Louis Moore
Louis Moore at slot 175 is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. A want dressed up as a pick, at a spot they had covered.
Pick185
Rnd6
Seth McGowan
They took Seth McGowan at par in the 185th overall pick, which is nothing to complain about. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick208
Rnd6
Keyshaun Elliott
They went early on Keyshaun Elliott in No. 208, and the value did not follow. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Pick219
Rnd7
Aiden Fisher
They liked Aiden Fisher enough to skip the value, taking him in pick No. 219. A luxury on a unit that was already in good shape.
