Mendoza is the plan now, and the Raiders grade out a B.

You could see the war room lean forward. Dillon Thieneman at slot 115 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did.

Whatever Fernando Mendoza becomes, the front office has tied its fortunes to the answer. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain. Cornerback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
