You can draft well and still miss the point. The Chiefs did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to wide receiver, which was the need that mattered most. No fireworks, but a solid B.

On the needs board they went 1 of 8, with running back the one that mattered most. They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
