FutureB-
Nothing loud, just a tidy B- for the Buccaneers. Somehow the biggest item on the list survived the weekend. The Buccaneers never addressed interior defensive lineman, and it is the kind of gap that lingers. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.
Green has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. Job largely done: tight end settled and 3 of 8 of the wish list covered.
A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
Pick Analysis
Pick19
Rnd1
Mike Green
In the 19th overall pick they get a bendy edge with upside, reach and all. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick53
Rnd2
Azareye'h Thomas
They paid sticker price for Azareye'h Thomas in Round 2, Pick 21, and that is fine. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick84
Rnd3
Gunnar Helm
They took Gunnar Helm at par in pick No. 84, which is nothing to complain about. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
