Draft Grade — Raiders
Overall A
ValueA- NeedB TradesA+ FutureA+
Skattebo should have been long gone. The Raiders pounced, and earned a A.

Somebody in slot 218 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Raiders sat still while Cam Skattebo, the No. 105 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. The sum of the weekend is a deserved A.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. Every board in the league had Robinson lower, and that gap is the story. The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Will Johnson and all.

Pick Analysis
Pick24 Rnd1 Will Johnson
In the 24th pick they get a ballhawk on the outside, outstanding value to boot. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick68 Rnd3 TreVeyon Henderson
Good things come to war rooms that wait, and TreVeyon Henderson at the 68th overall pick is the proof. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick73 Rnd3 Jalon Walker
You do not let a linebacker like Jalon Walker reach the Round 3 slot and blink. They did not. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Pick97 Rnd3 Tate Ratledge
Somehow Tate Ratledge was still sitting there in No. 97, and they pounced on premier offensive lineman value. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick107 Rnd4 Denzel Burke
They barely believed it either: Denzel Burke still on the board at pick No. 107. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick144 Rnd5 Ty Robinson
Ty Robinson at pick 144 is a steep price for a hunch, hard to square with any board. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick182 Rnd6 Barrett Carter
Barrett Carter at slot 182 is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. A luxury on a unit that was already in good shape.
Pick214 Rnd6 Jaylen Reed
A top-tier safety at a bargain, Jaylen Reed in Round 6, Pick 36, plain and simple. A minor itch, scratched.
Pick218 Rnd6 Cam Skattebo
Steal is underselling it; Cam Skattebo at No. 218 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick224 Rnd7 Miles Frazier
By-the-book stuff, Miles Frazier at pick 224 squarely in line with his ranking. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
