The Patriots cashed the board's mistake on Hudson: B+.

Give the war room a raise for the dealing alone. The Patriots came out ahead on every exchange that mattered, and it was not close. The bottom line is a respectable B+.

Landing Hudson that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The Kiser pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.

Job largely done: edge rusher settled and 6 of 8 of the wish list covered.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
