The Cowboys did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Roman Wilson fell into the 160th pick. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. They will need Yurosek to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
