For all the names on the card, the loudest question went unanswered. The Lions walked out of the weekend still thin at safety, a hole that has a way of deciding seasons.

Jefferson has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. The Watson pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. They went 4 of 9 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but safety.
