You could see the war room lean forward. Ricky Pearsall at slot 251 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. They will need Jefferson to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

Bottom line, they did the job about as well as it can be done.
