FutureB+
The Seahawks did the meat-and-potatoes work well: B. You can hear the double-takes from here. The Seahawks took Logan Fano at slot 161, roughly 78 spots before his name belonged. No fireworks, but a solid B.
However the rest shakes out, Hill Jr. at that price is a win they earned. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain. The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September.
They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
Pick Analysis
Pick59
Rnd2
Anthony Hill Jr.
They robbed the room for Anthony Hill Jr. here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick64
Rnd2
Jonah Coleman
A market-rate running back, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Jonah Coleman. It fills a real need, too.
Pick96
Rnd3
Treydan Stukes
A tidy little value on Treydan Stukes in pick No. 96, a step better than break-even. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
Pick128
Rnd4
Ar'maj Reed-Adams
A straight-up fair deal on Ar'maj Reed-Adams at pick 128, value and slot in agreement. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick161
Rnd5
Logan Fano
They talked themselves into Logan Fano at the Round 5 slot, and the board did not agree. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick194
Rnd6
Ted Hurst
Ted Hurst in the 194th pick is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick211
Rnd6
Zxavian Harris
A reach on Zxavian Harris in Round 6, Pick 32; the board had better options right there. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick243
Rnd7
Andre Fuller
Andre Fuller in No. 243 is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. They doubled down on a strength rather than a need.
