The Bears spent the pick that matters most on J.J. McCarthy, and a roster that has been waiting on a passer can start to take shape. Add it all up and it grades out a clean A-.

Daniels falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own.

Reaching for Rice left real value on the table behind him. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it.
