The search is over. The Bears handed the keys to Caleb Williams, and the whole operation now runs on his development. For now it grades a C, with the swing picks left to settle the rest.

That is a wide receiver worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. If McClellan pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.

For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain.

If Caleb Williams and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.
