The board owed the Packers one, and it paid up: Ainias Smith, the No. 169 name on the board, sitting there at the 217th overall pick like a gift left on the doorstep. No fireworks, but a solid B.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback. Kinchens has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
