Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Luke Lachey got past him. The Panthers do not have to explain a thing at pick 249. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B+.

For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain. The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September.
