This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: DJ Giddens, the No. 165 name on the board, stolen at the 249th pick. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Reaching for Conner left real value on the table behind him. Offensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.
