The Cowboys answered their biggest question with Sanders. Grade: D+.

Somebody in pick 209 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Cowboys sat still while Cam Skattebo, the No. 109 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. A weekend that fought the value and lost, hence the D+.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. They have staked the next five years on Shedeur Sanders, which is the only story that really matters here.

The Hamilton reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. For all the activity, cornerback went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, cornerback very much included.
