The Falcons treated their own grade as gospel and everyone else's as noise, spending slot 196 on J. Michael Sturdivant a full 29 spots early. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

The Ponds pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with offensive lineman, quarterback and other spots still on the board. A whole weekend of picks and offensive lineman is somehow still a want.

Getting Scott where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Good work on the whole, with offensive lineman the one box left unchecked.
