The rest of the league had time to spare on Will Sheppard; the Bears did not wait, grabbing him 24 spots ahead at Round 3, Pick 22.

They punted on interior defensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Starks at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Their trades came out a wash either way.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but interior defensive lineman.
