Draft Grade — Bills
Overall B
ValueB NeedB+ TradesA FutureB-
A sensible, unshowy class lands the Bills a B.

There is reaching, and then there is Trevin Wallace at the 204th pick. The Bills jumped the board by 29 and dared it to prove them wrong.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. On value alone, Coleman makes the weekend a net positive.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.

Pick Analysis
Pick36 Rnd2 Adonai Mitchell
Adonai Mitchell at the 36th pick is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick60 Rnd2 Keon Coleman
Keon Coleman in Round 2, Pick 28 is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick67 Rnd3 Ruke Orhorhoro
Ruke Orhorhoro at the 67th overall pick is right where the board had him, plain and simple. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick136 Rnd4 Jarrian Jones
Jarrian Jones at slot 136 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Pick144 Rnd5 Trevor Keegan
A straight-up fair deal on Trevor Keegan at the Round 5 slot, value and slot in agreement. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick145 Rnd5 Luke McCaffrey
By-the-book stuff, Luke McCaffrey at pick 145 squarely in line with his ranking. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick160 Rnd5 Malik Mustapha
Malik Mustapha in pick 160 is early enough to raise a brow, if not a full objection. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick204 Rnd6 Trevin Wallace
A real head-scratcher, Trevin Wallace in the 204th overall pick is miles ahead of his ranking. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
