The Bears left with their quarterback, and a A- to match.

Start where it matters. The Bears took Caleb Williams to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. Add it all up and it grades out a clean A-.

That Wilson pick is the receipt they will wave around later. Reaching for Cole left real value on the table behind him. They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own.

They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Caleb Williams and all.
