The Dolphins bled value on every deal, hence the D-. They will call it conviction in the building and a reach everywhere else: Dominic Zvada, 135 picks early at pick 154. Too much went sideways, and the D- is the honest tally.
The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. It is not that Lee III is a bad player; it is that the Dolphins had louder needs to answer first.
They covered a lot of ground and still skipped running back, which is a strange place to end up. That is an interior defensive lineman worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.
In the end, a class the front office will want to grow past quickly.
