The Dolphins turned the phones into found money: B. The board owed the Dolphins one, and it paid up: Jake Slaughter, the No. 55 name on the board, sitting there at No. 92 like a gift left on the doorstep. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.
If Hobbs pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast.
They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
