There is conviction, and then there is this. The Dolphins took Kalil Alexander a full 117 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.

That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The Igbinosun pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with quarterback, interior defensive lineman and other spots still on the board.

Reese falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. A small leak at the table, if not a fatal one.
