The Browns robbed the room for Trotter. Final grade: B. The board owed the Browns one, and it paid up: Josiah Trotter, the No. 56 name on the board, sitting there at the Round 5 slot like a gift left on the doorstep.
Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. A modest surplus at the table, banked quietly. Quarterback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
