Larceny in the 244th overall pick lands the Lions a B-, Hunter and all.

Somebody in Round 7, Pick 28 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Lions sat still while Jarquez Hunter, the No. 190 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.

That cornerback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. On the needs board they went 5 of 9, with edge rusher the one that mattered most.

Value over need was the throughline, for better and worse.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the cornerback spot they never got to.
