The Bears checked most of the boxes and earned a B.

The Bears looked at the value chart, folded it up, and took Thor Griffith at No. 148 regardless, 31 picks early. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

For all the activity, running back went untouched, which is hard to explain. However the rest shakes out, Jackson at that price is a win they earned.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
