Draft Grade — Cardinals
Overall

FutureB-
The Cardinals lost the trade table, and the C+ tells the story. The phones were a trap the Cardinals kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal.
The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. They banked enough surplus on Murphy II to cover a lot of smaller sins.
Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.
So much rides on Byron Murphy II that the real verdict is a season or two away.
Pick Analysis
Pick11
Rnd1
Rome Odunze
In the 11th pick they get a weapon on the perimeter at fair value. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick27
Rnd1
Byron Murphy II
In pick No. 27 they get a run-stuffing presence up front at a price that makes it sweeter.
