The Bears drew a line under the quarterback search with Williams: D+.

The phones were a trap the Bears kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal. The board pushed back all weekend, and the D+ is the result.

Caleb Williams gives the offense a face and a plan, and the grade leans heavily on whether he hits. They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it. The James pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, interior defensive lineman very much included.
