A sensible, unshowy class lands the Steelers a B-.

Nobody else had Mason McCormick anywhere near the 119th overall pick. The Steelers did, by 27 spots, and that gap is the whole story. It nets out to a B-, which feels about right.

The McCormick pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at quarterback, edge rusher and other spots. The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The Mustapha steal is the beam this whole class leans on.

Interior defensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
