You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Rams did exactly that with Zion Logue in pick 244. It lands right in the middle: a C+, no more, no less.

On value alone, Smith-Wade makes the weekend a net positive. A small leak at the table, if not a fatal one. The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.

Trading back for volume was the quiet throughline of their weekend.

The verdict is a shrug for now, with the swing picks left to write the real ending.
