Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Javon Solomon at Round 3, Pick 9 is 35 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline. Some smart calls, some head-scratchers, and a C+ in the wash.

The Solomon pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with edge rusher, safety and other spots still on the board. The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

Not a disaster, not a triumph, just a middling class.
