A sensible, unshowy class lands the Lions a B-.

Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Lions spent pick No. 186 on Isaiah Jatta, a name most had 21 spots down the list. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. The Haulcy steal is the beam this whole class leans on. It is a win-now wager, and the future is the stake.
