The Lions let Washington fall into their laps, and walked away with a B-.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Lions were there to profit. A'Mauri Washington, the No. 24 name on the board, should have been long gone before pick 76.

Reaching for Jackson left real value on the table behind him. The phones were where this weekend was really won. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up.

Spending an early pick on safety with edge rusher open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
