Legette should have been long gone. The Lions pounced, and earned a B.

This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Xavier Legette, the No. 38 name on the board, stolen at No. 61. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

They punted on linebacker, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Reaching for Robinson left real value on the table behind him.

The trade work was a quiet net positive. They went 5 of 9 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
