The 49ers treated their own grade as gospel and everyone else's as noise, spending No. 185 on Paris Shand a full 113 spots early.

However the rest shakes out, Judkins at that price is a win they earned. That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own. The dealing nudged the ledger their way without much fuss.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
