The Commanders finally solved quarterback, and it carried them to a B.

Start where it matters. The Commanders took Drake Maye to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.

Landing Singer that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. Every board in the league had Castles lower, and that gap is the story. Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

The trade work was a quiet net positive.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but interior defensive lineman.
