The Chargers did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Trente Jones fell into pick No. 253.

A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want. They will need Fisher to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

Interior defensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. The skill positions did well by the weekend.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
