The Broncos bet the future on Nix. The board says D-.

Every swap seemed to tilt away from the Broncos, and the value they bled adds up to real damage. Hard to defend, and the D- reflects that.

The whole projection now runs through Bo Nix; hit there and everything else looks smarter. With linebacker, running back and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on cornerback is the choice that costs them. The linebacker spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

That is a wide receiver worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, linebacker very much included.
